Default August 2017 Trip to Glacier

Our trip from Illinois to Glacier Natl Park with side trips to Yellowstone, Chief Joseph Hwy, Big Horn Mtns this past August. I love riding out west!

Never posted a video before, hope this works.

Hope you enjoy.

Really nice pics and video on GNP. The view looking down into the valley on a clear sunny day is just mind blowing. We were there on August 1, 2012 had quite a bit of snow in the upper elevations. Beautiful place indeed.

I've got some photos that look like we would have been close enough to talk to each other, except mine were back in the 70's. Doesn't look like it's changed much. Going to the Sun highway is easily in the top 3 I've been on, incredibly scenic. Hope to get back there some day, but can't wait too long, I'm 70.

The wife and I really enjoyed Montana. It has a little bit of everything, from mountains to rolling hills and wheat fields as far as the eye can see. Look forward to going back someday.

Agree 100%. This country has sooo much beautiful areas that most people never even visit. Wife and I did Going to the Sun, Beartooth Pkwy, Yellowstone, Jackson, Million Dollar Highway in Col, Madrid, last week of July into first week of August

Giacomo56, I read later, the day after we left GNP, lighting started several fires in the park and many visitors had to evacuate.
