The man: Evel Knievel rider in the 70's
For all those not initiated you might get a kick out of watching a 1970's icon: Evel Knievel.
He was a motorcycle rider of first magnitude, flying over the Caesar's Palace fountain.
There's a good DVD called "Evel Knievel: Last of the Gladiators" that contains a whole mess of his stunts including Snake River attempt. The interview parts are a bit slow but the stunt footage is great.
The 70's wouldn't have been the same without him. He was too cool.
He started on Triumphs then moved to Harley's and I don't hold it against him, he lived and learned and died doing his thing.
