Next stage: I-10 to Beaumont,TX on the 13th to meet Dee at Cowboy HD at 11:00am

Tool Man and I met this morning at Cowboy Harley in Beaumont, Tx and exchanged the Mascot. We had a nice cruise through the HD shop then had lunch and visited a bit.

I will meet MyCrisis next Sunday, the 21st, in Nacogdoches, Tx for the pass-off. We're still looking for a spot, as neither of us are familiar with that town! But we're aiming for somewhere late morning to noon.

Anyone that is planning on showing up at the Fredonia should know that this plan has changed to a mid week meet in Lufkin. Time and place yet to be determined. Stay tuned.

Good job! Glad to read TXCommish was able to join you.

@MYCRISIS:

Please keep us posted on the next hand-off to Texas Roadie.

MYCRISIS 10-25-2012 12:02 AM

Meeting is confirmed for tomorrow. Mycrisis and TxCommish handing off to Texas Roadie in Winsboro Texas at Bodacious BQ at 4:00pm.

There are no Harley dealerships or Topless joints so I was just thinking food.

It's moving good Rene.

Texas Roadie 10-25-2012 06:22 PM

Exchange done! Hobe and I met MYCRISIS and Txcommish at Bodacious BBQ in Winnsboro, TX this afternoon. No topless bars and no food either :icon_frown: since we were all trying to dodge the rain from the cold front that was coming at us. Had some good conversation, got a random lady heading in to the restaurant to take our pic and watched a crazy driver narrowly NOT hit my bike as she parked!(like I was worried :icon_really:)

And yes Dee he told me the secret. Not that one! The other one for folding! LOL

From left to right-Texas Roadie, Hobe, Txcommish and MYCRISIS.

Great to meet y'all. Roadie, I gotta say, ya kept your cool pretty good while that gal took 29 tries to get her old Buick into the space next to your bike! LOL!!!

My final hand off is done. My husband and I (and another couple that are also members on the HD forums) rode over to Rockwall, TX and met Bsweet. Had a great ride and we all ate toooooo much lunch. Was great to see Bsweet(Sue) again. Too bad her husband had to work and couldn't make it. Maybe he can go with her for the next hand off.

Roadie I see you and Hobe got the Ultra out for the ride to Dallas. One little cold front and you park the little Bobber??? HaHa. I dont blame you. I would have picked the fairing too. I was freezing my butt off in a tree stand Fri, Sat, Sun and was wondering about your trip.

Way to go guys!!! Texas is movin it!!!

Texas Roadie 10-29-2012 04:38 PM

Ha! Yeah, pulled my Eglide out for the trip to Dallas. But mainly because 75 mph for an extended bit of time is a bit much. 65mph and below I can handle all day long though! Did take the bobber to Tyler on Sunday! Missed you at the COC meeting! We were looking for ya! You'd have for sure seen some of the MC's we talked about!

Roger that, mud.

Zooming in on the image, I noticed the bag carries the HDF logo.

Anxious to learn (for the record & Mascot history I'm working on with the help of EveHD) the member's screen name who made the bag and the first occasion and date it was used...

No it didn't, Tom. It's the first time I see it being used; that's why I'd like to know the details about it.
