It looks like the Mascot is going to cross the Eastern TX borderline October 13.

Here's the updated (09/20/2012) plan for the Mascot's travel stages in TX (dates based on the assumption riders will be available on Saturdays).

Please be so kind to let me know in this thread (or by PM):

1. if you're available at the mentioned dates;

What part dont you understand and I will try to be more clear.

Post means I have had communications with the person delivering the mascot to me,and the person I will be delivering the mascot to.

Then there was a question at the end. The question was basically "where is the dang thing?"

09/24/2012 the Mascot's FL Summer holidays ended and headed west for a hand-off in Mobile AL.

Currently it's location is Pearl River LA, waiting to be carried to Baton Rouge LA.

I wonder, mileage wise, what's the furthest the mascot has traveled in one season?

Tool Man met Curtis at the I-Hop in Lafayette about 9:30am on Friday 10/05/2012.

Next stage: I-10 to Beaumont,TX on the 13th to meet Dee at Cowboy HD at 11:00am

5,473 miles this year......

I would venture to say if it gets to the left coast 2012 will be the most mileage in a year.

Now that doesn't answer the question. Is it the most miles in one season? If not, which season had the most mileage?

Another question I have is: Which season had the most members involved?

I really have no idea! I only started tracking the Mascot's travels in 2010 when it was over here in Europe.

To answer your questions we have to dig into the Mascot's history.

Last year I started to copy/past all Mascot related travel report posts into a Word document (2005 -2008) but haven't finished it yet.

I plan to process all dates into an Excel sheet when this year's riding season is over so please have some patience?

Not sure if all prior records are available. I have seen some archived info from wayyy back, before the big software change, and I know the mascot was traveling when I first came onboard here in '07. Maybe SKJOLD might be some help. I believe he commandeered the mascot's travels back in its early days.

To René - I had to take a moment to figure out the most efficient way to go about it. Needless to say, there isn't one. I just dove right in. Will take a little while though. I will send you updates as I complete a few pages. Just in case, I will continue to save on my Google drive so I don't lose any work that was completed. Hmmm maybe there is a way to just give you access to the doc via a link? I'll figure it out and let you know...
