Default I Think I Have Decided on a Fuel Programmer

Does anybody have a recommendation for the Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 for a 2018 RK 107 motor. I have done lots of research and this appears to be a simple install along with being able to do it yourself and it seems to work well.

Did you do the auto tune on your bike?

Yes I ran an auto tune......but once you set the air intake, headers and exhaust in the program you are tuned.....auto tune fine tunes the rest.

You can download the FP3 app to your phone or tablet and fiddle with all the functions it has to offer.

Here is a helpful video.....

I too was in your spot a couple of weeks ago. FP3 vs Power vision vs TTS master tune. The selling point for me was Fuelmoto's customer service. The ease of use of the Power vision makes tuning easy. Good luck and I hope your choice serves you well.

HogPro.com has the Vance & Hines Fuel Pak FP3 for 319.99 and it mounts in side cover where it plugs in.
Fuelmotousa.com has the Dyno Jet Power Vision for 429.99 and it mounts on the handlebars and you have to run wires.

I have mine in the saddle bag. It all depends on what you want. I wanted a more powerful tool than the FP3 and the support of Fuel moto. The supplied map from Fuel moto was close but had issues. I ran 3 auto tune sessions and still needed tweaking. I did a datalog ride and sent that to FM and Jamie emailed me back a new map. Power vision is a flash based tuner only needs to be plugged in while a change or datalog is being done. The FP3 original maps are written for bikes with Vance and Hines exhaust only. From there you have to make changes. FM's custom tune library covers many other aftermarket products. Good luck with the FP3 let us know how it works.

I would base my tuner on what Mods I have done and what the future mods I would like. That really is the smart way to approach it. So tell us what have you done and future plans.

You can select other exhaust systems manufacturer with the Fuel Pak than just a Vance & Hines system. I have Cobra slip-ons and will be purchasing a high flow air cleaner to bring it to stage 1.
I would really like to open the exhaust system up by cutting that factory head pipe and removing the CAT.
