SE tuner
So my bike already had a tuner installed when I got it a couple months ago and it came with the little box that is used to connect to computer. PO told me he had it tuned at a local dealership and it still runs pretty strong. But my question is, if/when it needs time again, will I have to take it back there to have it done? What would I need to do it myself? Just curious

Is it the race tuner or the street tuner? In either case you can download the software to your laptop. You will also need the cables to connect the tuner from the laptop to the bike.
I believe they are ~ $35 from dealer. The street tuner is limited on the adjustments you can make due to the EPA suit against the moco. The race tuner, the sky is the limit.
If you're comfortable with editing the tuning parameters (maps), you can do it yourself on your laptop.

My bike came with one of those too....I had a FP3 on my last bike an liked the ease of use with it.....right now the bike only has slip ons on it but I want a better flowing head pipe an high flo air filter kit...I'm trying to figure out if I can tune it or take it to the dealership since I don't have the cables or a laptop.
