RE: What happens if Power Commander goes down?
ORIGINAL: terryt1955 Anything else anyone can think of that I should add to improve reliability/performance? I've seen some discussion around a 98" Kit? IS that available for the Ultra 88? or would it be better to just go to the 103"? Terry Thanks |
RE: What happens if Power Commander goes down?
ORIGINAL: kechour After much research (Power Commander/Race Tuner/Fuelpak), I am convinced that the Race Tuner got the advantage, if for anything; it is not a piggy back module, and therefore, one less piece of hardware potential failure. BUT … Since I am not doing the work myself but will be leaving that to a dealer, the two dealer near me, both advocate the Power Commander and I have no choice but to get that. It sucks not being mechanically well versed and having to relay on those who are. Kechor, The reason I bought the power commander was that SERT and screaming eagle air intake installed with dyno tune $892.00 at harley dealer. Power Commander with custom map for my bike with K&N intake $408.00 shipping included. Installed it myself...and I ain't no mechanic...she runs like a MF now...but yall are correct i've got extra electronics riding with me. Thats just my opinion...I've made mistakes....ask my ex wife...but I did pass math. |
