Default Power Commander History?

Does anyone have any idea how I can find out the history of the evolution of Power Commanders, specificically III USB but all would be good, too. For example, I have seen used PC III USB but I have also read that the "older" ones can only adjust one cylinder and duplicate that for the other but that the newer ones allow both cylinders to be tuned independently. When I follow new and used on ebay they all have the same part number listed... but I have seen a different part number on the bottom of the unit in the pics. That would make me guess that the seller just went to the dynotek web site and looked up the current number for the application...

TIA...

Dynojet would probably be the best source for the information you want. But the "older" ones are probably the PCII's; they were definitely not Dynojet's best product and worked on a totally different bases than the PCIII's.

Well, I bought a new one but a buddy wants one and he's got me looking on ebay. One of the ones that I saw that was advertised as a PCIII had a serial cable in the picture instead of a USB cable... for example.

Th PCIII USB was intorduced in 03

Well, that helps some. Still, rumor has it that there is a difference even with PCIII's. Dynojet should put this info on their web site so that someone could figure out what the deal is...

Thanks.
