PCIIIusb Cylinder Trim

Can someone explain what the cylinder trim actually does?

Does it add/remove fuel from the cylinder?

Just a quick explanation would be good, and what some adjustments would do.

Thanks,

Steve

RE: PCIIIusb Cylinder Trim

Steve,

My understanding of it would be just what you said. It can add or remove fuel from the front or rear cylinder. The front cylinder does not need as much fuel to cool as the rear. If your bike have been tuned by a pro tuner you really do not need to use the trim feature. I am running the advanced map were both of my cylinders were tuned seperately buy the tuner.

I hope that this helps.

RE: PCIIIusb Cylinder Trim

The PC USB is the only way to go if you are using a PC. The USB writes 2 independant fuel and spark maps. When an engine is modified, you can't just map one cylinder and "trim" the other and expect to get optimal performance. Looking at the EFI Tuner VE tables proves this. The cylinders breathe completely differently. This becomes a considerable factor when you change exhaust system configs.
