Hi, I bought a 96 1200 custom end of last summer. When it started to get cold I started it and rode it down the driveway to the barn. When I pulled it in, it stalled. I figured I took it off choke too quick. I didn't worry about it and put it away (about October). I went to start it last night and nothing when I hit the start button. The battery is good. I have speedo light, blinkers, horn and brake light. No headlight (not even dim) and nothing when I hit the start button. Is there a main fuse that would cause this? My brother has the manual and I won't get that for a few days. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

There should be a green wire going to the starter Pull this off and sand it down You might see some corrosion on the connector Try it again
