My '08 Heritage has the aftermarket HD speedo/tach. When I use the SmartTune record mode, my speedo and tach does not work. It does this every time, but does not seem to affect the recording. It's the analog one w/digital odometer, and you can change the color of the backlight using the reset button. I don't know if this is a clue, but I also can't seem to be able to get it to take a password for in case you lose the security key fob. I've went through the process (on-off left-turn-right-turn or whatever) many times and it does not work. I just wonder if maybe it's not totally compatible with my model bike.
