Popping on Decel

Popping on Decel
Okay, I have a newbie question. I've only had my 2000 Classic a short time, and still trying to figure out what I bought -- not sure the guy who sold it to me even knew. I'm getting some popping on decel. Improved somewhat when I filled the tank with Premium gas -- suspect the previous owner might have used Regular. Anyway, still having the popping when I get off the throttle. Bike has V&H straight shots, but not aware of any other changes. Idles well and runs well, so no other noticeable problems. Any ideas what I need to do to correct this popping problem? Thanks.

If it has/had a SERT (MM), you SHOULD have recieved the interface key with the bike......
If it is Race tuned, any HD shop with a Digital Technician can plug in and see what the cal and Race Tune status is.....
If by chance it is, you NEED to get ahold of the key, or you will invest in one yourself.......
You might find out that it has a Stage I ECM update and nothing more.....
That is not enough for that system.....
The cal that you PROBABLY have is 29489-99/DT.......
That is a 1450 Stage I Legal....

Thanks, Bob, lots of good info. Like she says on TV, "I don't know what it means, but I want it." Gives me more to learn and provide info to my dealer. I plan to pull the seat later today or tomorrow and keep digging into what I've got installed. I've got a lot to learn!
