Default 02 sensor eliminators

Installing vance hines long shots on buddy bike and pc111, the pc111 came with sensor eliminators, do you use them or just plug the sensors back in and put them back in pipes or use plugs in the pipes, is there a right way or wrong way to do it. Thanks

If you use the PC3 with the O2 eliminators you can leave the sensors in the pipes if you want but I wouldn't hook them up, it uses the eliminators to keep it inopen loop without throwing a trouble code so that the ECM runs off of the map you tell it to. If you hook up the sensors the ECM will try to run inclosed loop when you are cruising at whatever speed.

Hi Ultra,

as John said the eliminators plug into the harness leaving the 02 sensors redundant. It is up to youwhether you want to leave the 02 sensors in the pipes andzip tie the cables or to remove them completely and replace with plugs. Both work just fine. The plugs help tidy things up by removing the cables. I pickd up my plugs from the local exhaust shop for AUD$4each. Just need to ensure you don't have an exhaust leak at the plug. Remoding the rear sensor may require removal of pipes as the seat post could createsome access issues.

Cheers

Mick
