I'm really pulling for HD on this one. After I get done with my chopper, if the PA isn't up to par, I was just going to build my own version of the PA out of a 1200 sporty.

I had the same idea right up until the PA was announced! I did recently stumble on kits from this place though.....

Thank You, started life as a 2018 Iron 1200. Just finished it up this morning in this phase.

That's really sweet - what a fun bike for plonking around. It's kind of link a Ducati Scrambler, nice and small and the weight is probably down even lower on this one. Just gotta watch the ground clearance when you start meandering on some of the more beat up roads. Sweet.

Some details of the new engine family for the Pan America, Street Fighter, and Custom has been discovered.

https://www.motorcycle.com/mini-feat...n-filings.html

It looks to me like it has coil on plug and there is a sensor on each overhead cam location hinting at variable valve timing maybe.

At this point if I started a project like that I would spend more money and Harley would still have the PA out before I finished it.

And that's a beautiful bike, Harley should have been making those years ago.
