I took the crappy Harley shocks off my Ultra and replaced them with Pro Action shocks. World of difference. Looking forward to the suspension on the Pan Am with 8 screws and 2 rods in my lower back. LOL
From one bad back to another, the PA will have you saying, "What rough road? I didn't notice."

Yep, in fact on my Tenere' and AT I often *aim* for the rough parts of the road. On my RK I do my best to miss rough sections and when it's inevitable it can't be avoided I pull up on the bars to get weight off my tailbone and cringe. I will look into Pro Action shocks.
That's what I'm hoping. Roads around here can really suck in spots.
I can attest to the performance on rough roads. Some of the roads in the Metro Detroit area are simply archaic. Patches filling the holes are like mounded up speed bumps. Other places there are steel plates with 2" sharp edges covering the pot holes.
I bought this Adventure Bike to handle the day to day roads around here and it is not disappointing! The PA handles it all very well.
