Hey guys, we aren't full force yet, but we are well on our way. There are many more people here than I thought there would be the first weekend. Ya'll come on down and make it more crowded by two bikes, lol. Can't wait to meet ya'll. Of course I haven't been able to go anywhere besides DogHouse North and Secret's because I'm stuck here working, but if anyone else has a good crowd like us, then it's not going to be a bad bike week at all.

Hard to get a sense of what is going on from the SUNNEWS website. How is the atmosphere? What about inside the city limits? I heard Dog House South was dead (via RSS).
Are they enforcing the noise ordinance? That's what I am worried about.

I rode through Myrtle today and my bike doesn't have baffles at all, and I didn't get any trouble outta LEO. However, I wasn't trying to get any extra attention, so I wasn't revving it up either. They are absolutely right about DogHouse South, they are dead. I think you're only waisting time if you try to find anything within the city limits but I'm at work right now, and guess what. We've got a great crowd. Plus, I've heard that the guy who manages DogHouse North and Secret's Cabaret is really cool (LOL!) so you shouls go there anyways!!

Dog House and Secrets
Planning on stopping by on Tuesday. I am coming in on Monday, but had to book a hotel on 9th South and Ocean. Helmet is ok for me (wear one every day).
Tell you, though, when I read some of the comments on the SUNNEWS website, I just want to choke the F out of some of them.

I rode down Sat for the Day got home at 12pm. I only went to HB`s, Swingbridge and Poo`s. I saw three Leo`s between HB`s and hwy 31. One had a truck , another has a bike and the other was crusing the road. Saw several Local Leo`s, the wife said he wave`d at her so she waved back, then another waved ( I saw him) she waved back, Locals seemed to be acting cool anyways... I think the Local Leo`s want my wife or they are being nice so they can have the money we spend to keep their jobs... I talked to a buddy who said Iron Gate and Broken Spokes were DEAD!!! He said he really likes the New Beaver Bar, So I guess this week we will have to check it out. Other than a good crowd and everyone we spoke to were having Fun ( we did also). As always drive respectful and dont do anything to draw attention (unless she is really pretty then take a chance). If your coming, Have Fun and Be safe. Oh forgot to mention while we were at Poo`s a really nice Boat came by with around 10 - 12 girls on the front wearing Bikinis, everyone starting waving and shouting and it worked, Boobies came out and Bottoms came OFF!!!!!! I love Beach Rallies....

I was just thinking of starting a MB Thread and I found this one. Morning reports on the TV was showing 200+ tickets so far, 167 for Speeding. I knew they were going to crack down on speeders. It's just easy money. I checked out H-B Spokes yesterday and there was a couple hundred bikes there. Most people were just laying back have a brew or two. Since I no longer drink I walked through checked out some bikes and headed north to Beach House H-D. (15 miles north on H-17.) There's about 20 vendors located there from a couple of pinstripe people to even a seat maker. Since I'm a Craftsman I spent more time watching the seat maker and Wild Bill (a striper). Yesterday I spent about an hour at Barefoot landing and scored some 3 for $25 T-shirts. (Remember I'm the guy who refuses to pay $30.00 for on T-shirt.) There's a good many vendors at Barefoot Landing.
Good wite-up Hawgnutz. I've rode by the Swing Bridge Bar about a dozen times this week but haven't stopped. I use to have my boat docked at Anchor Marina (at Poo's) and Poo's always has a crowd (and pretty good grub).
Any report from the Speedway? I considered heading South yesterday and stayed on the North end.
It's a little overcast here (NMB) this morning but no rain yet.

Alright guys, Bike Week seems like it has officially began. We are absolutley packed in both The DogHouse N. and Secret's Cabaret. If you're at home reading this, you should be ashamed of yourselves lol. Just kidding but if you're debating coming down, I think you'll have a good time if you do. I can't speak for anywhere else, but it looks like it will be good for us after all. I can only imagine it progressively getting better as the days go by.
