I`m Back. Attendance was way down.. To me the Hotspot was Swingbridge.. It was Packed,Good Music, Plenty of people.. Bikes parked everywhere, some were parking on the edge of the road and got towed off if not moved before the Flatbed gottem... We also rode by The Rat Hole,$10 to get in and $4 Beer, Sorry I`m not stupid Mr. Rat.. Did not look like there was many people there except the one`s turning around.. If he had counted the Bikes coming in vs the Bikes turning around I think he would rethink his stradgy..HB Spokes was kinda down in #`s plus the band sucked Friday night ( I`m just not a beach Music lover)I thought there was more bikes on the North end or Maybe it was just me....Police seemed to be Laid back, I guess they were looking for the showoffs, and resting up for Next Week..We had a great time anyways. I heard the Mayor was blaming the "Bikers" for the lost Economy. Said its our fault because of the "Not A Dime in 09" slogan.. What else will he blame on the Bikers....Only ran into 1 little rain storm and it was gone in 15 min.

Well, as everyone already knows, bike week was down. However, there were a few hot spots, and I'm glad that we were fortunate enough (DogHouse N. and Secret's Cabaret) to be one of them. I want to personally thank each and every one of you guys that came down and supported us, even after certain people tried running you off. JonGolden and I had a great ride one day to the new Beach House Harley in Shallotte, NC. He also came and hung out with me at work several days. All I've gotta say is that I wish I had a school teacher as cool as him when I was in English class lol. Anyways, once again guys, thank you very much for helping us out. You're all more than welcome to come see me any time that you'd like. It doesn't have to be bike week for us to treat you right. Also, Jon's bike was great looking, and HotRoc had just that, A hot roc. Jon I'd like to see the pictures that you took. I don't even have any pics of my bike since it's been done lol!! Hope to see ya'll soon!!!

HotRoc54, nice pictures. I copied the Blockhead Rat (#3) Sweeeet. I wish I had the ***** to do my 1998 RG. I hate to say I use to have a 1965 Pan semi-rat but I traded it several years ago.

Hawgnuttz the Mayor is a Moron. I'm going to do my part prior to the next election to see that he's but is Ousted.

Dustin I waited on you guys until 12:30 at the Kangaroo and took off to Beach House. The second time was less exciting that the first trip. I might have been there a total of 30 minutes and just as I was leaving I think you pulled in.

Friday or Saturday I wanted to go out to the Speedway but I heard of the 1.5 hour waits to get through the Traffic Checks and decided to stay on the North end.

I'll tell you, I'm seriously thinking heading inland by Friday. I don't want to end up in the "box" again and I don't think I can tolerate the Atlantic Beach Crime Fest riders. I don't know if you read my trip report on my first ride to Beach House about the Black guy on a sport bike doing 30 to 100 mph runs on H-17 (packing a 9mm in plain view). I have got to where over the past years I don't carry. If I'd had my .45 that day I would have been tempted to show it to the idiot.

POO's, SwingingBridge and HB's all were a great time and a great atmosphere. Crowds were down but sometimes less is more... Stayed at my house in Sunset Beach NC. Never ventured south of the Bass Pro Shop/Mall in N. Myrtle... Had a great time Thurs-Sun. No problems myself and didn't see any other than the few who parked in the street (packed... no where else to park) at SwingingBridge getting towed. Even spent part of the day Sat. at the 28th Annual Blue Crab Festival in Little River...

HotRoc...man, SBB might as well have been closed! I have been going since 1999 and that is the smallest number of people I have ever seen there. I elected not to go this year as I didn't want to put up with the BS they were talking about.

Hate that I missed it, but it doesn't look like I missed a lot....

Thanks for the pictures.

I was on the fence about the whole thing. I wanted to stand up to MBCC by going but then I figure the locals elected these d0uchebags so let them eat crow.

If we go, maybe we get harassed and lose. If we don't go, we lose. Tough call.

I went to the Smokeout X in Rockingham, NC instead and had a blast. Went with a few HDF members and ended up meetin a couple more while I was there. Best part of the day was me n Sniper77 runnin down the 1/8 drag track. No tickets. No lil ol ladies pullin out in front of you. Just pure adrenaline.

I don't drink so much anymore and was kind of bored at MBBW 08. Yeah the vendors were cool, especially at MB HD and Broadway at the Beach but...I don't know. Maybe I've outgrown the bs of the big rallies.

If you went and had a good time, more power to ya.

I forgot to add that I have a really good woman in my life so I don't feel the need to 'hunt'. I don't mind browsing the selection once in a while but y'all know what I mean. Years past, it was a different girl every night I was there, drinking helps A LOT with that especially on their end. I'm kinda ugly.
