It's the place to ride to up here...Indoor/Outdoor Restaurant, Tattoos, Live Music, Bike repair & selection of parts, Clothing, Free camping (although I stay at a near by Hotel when possible) & lots of Bikers.
The ride is beautiful right along the Mississippi River, the Palisades State park is right around the area & Galena (which is north of Savanna) is a town where we stop on our way down to Poopy's. It's a nice ride. You should Google some nearby towns to see what else there is to do there.
    Peace, Adam

It has been a while, but yeah, I 've been thru there a time or two. The river road is cool and when we go to Peoria for the TT races, we usually take the river road and then on up 100 and 96 along the Illinois river and make a day of it. It has been a few years since we've been to the races, but it is in the plans for this year. I hope to do quite a bit of riding this year. Where are you located?

Arm was broken in Feb, still going through rehab, can't pull a clutch yet. Once I'm good, let's figure out a place in the middle of the river road. Fast Eddies burgers are tasty for sure
