Maybe so, I'm in the Anaheim area, work in the LA area. You understand why routing those stainless lines or any other oil lines with a V reg cover, won't work right? The way the newer stye coolers in and out are placed the lines need to pass by the V reg on some on both sides and on others on the left side only. The stand-off mounts are right there, and so close to the cooler. there's no way to route around them. Now the older style cooler that mounted higher to the frame down tubes the in and out came off the bottom and you could get away with it, but those don't work on the newer frames. Go figure. The chrome V reg is the route I'm gonna go, when I get round to it. Gonna be using the braided lines too. The covers I suggested are OK but like the real deal.

2009 Ultra in Black Pearl...excellent choice (I have the same scooter). I'm also in SoCal...maybe we'll get the chance to do some road sometime.

Sorry I didn't see your message now. I like my Lepera a great deal. I'm only 6'1" with a 34" inseam, but the seat moves your butt back about 2" and lower about 1 1/2". It feels a lot better. It gave me a more confident feeling when stopped or trying to back up to park ect. I also installed the kuryakyn board extenders that relocate the running boards 1" out and 1" forward. Together made a much better ride for me. You most likely don't need the lowering affect the seat gives but I did. I run the faring lowers and the extenders put my boards close to the lowers. I don't know i your running lowers or not, but if you aren't you might check into other ways to move the boards forward. Drag Specialties make a set of boards that look just like stock but he brackets welded underneath move the boards up 2". Then with the extenders get another 1" forward and out 1". Doing that you would also need to get an extended brake and shift lever. I run a set up like that on my 01' EG without lower farrings amd the stock pillow seat. An inch or 2 here and there doesn't sound like much but it makes a difference. I highly recomend the LePera seat, and if your not running lowers the 2" forward boards and extenders the extended brake and shift lever will also give you more room on the boards to move your feet around, on the boards, and not be locked behind the brake lever or between the heel toe shift lever. That's been my experience. Good Luck Nate

Hi. Just joined HD Forum and saw that you have a LePera Maverick Long Legged seat. I am curious to know if you are liking it and would recommend it? I am 6'7" with a 38 inseam. I need more room on my electra glide. Thanks for any information you might have!!
