sweet bike- you said you were tryin to do airblaster theme- u could try find someone that does metal etching and get the airblaster etched on your derby cover- would be a cool accent and keep the bike as clean as it is

Thanks for the compliment. They were actually V&H short shorts that I cut, staggered and re-welded, dumped the heat sheild and wrapped. I wasnt digging the look of my pipes so had to do the mod. I did get a remap when I had a different air cleaner, but runs great, it's EFI so not normallly carberated. Love the bike lloking to do a hardtail build on a different Sportster in the future. Have fun man.....

Yeah! the rubber on the forks looks awesome. i actually got my bike used and the guy that had it before me cut them off. its not worth it to me right now to get new ones put back on, but that would look sweet on your bike

Hey man, sorry for the late reply. i just moved from Seattle to Phoenix. Your bike is coming together awesome man. I would keep that front fender off though. When it would rain in WA i would take a black bandana and wrap it around the lower forks so that it was rubbing on the top of the tire. it would stop the water from spraying up as much. It worked good enough i guess... Keep up the good work man.

for the bars , some biker dude sold me em , i dont know the dimensions, they are quite narrow and have very little pullback, they need risers to get a good angle , i have to reach quite far to hold on , muahahahahhah

sweet looking bike you have there so far alex! i'm trying to figure out which handlebars to get for my 07 Nightster and really like the look of yours. Where did you get them and what are their dimensions?
