I had the la chopper lowering kit , it works well because it doesn't change the angle of your shocks so they still perform , it depends on what shocks you run if you have to space your bags out , I was running Ohlins #3-#3 which I had to space out to use the lowering blocks which made me space out my bags about 1/2"

TJ Howard said you may have a set of lowering blocks, spacers and longer bolts for sale.Iam thinking of installing a set on my 11 Ultra. How did you like them, pro & cons? How far did the side bags have to be moved out? What brand were they and how do they fit with the pipes?
    Thanks Ripp

my rear avon venom 140 is rubbing my belt on my 01 eglide and one of the mechanics at my local shop who installed the tire said that there isnt much they can do about it. I heard about adding a spacer to the wheel and they said they cant do it because the wheel has to be true and straight. This sounds like mumbo jumbo and i should have spoken directly to she shop owner who first sold me the tire and not one of his minions. I didnt sweat it at first but now it seems kinda strange that one of the mechanics acted like i was SOL and i know theres a way to fix it. I don't want to call up there and jump to conclusions and start cussing but that's what they are telling me and get a little on edge about my bike. So, what exactly did you have to do to get the avon to fit on the bike? You can email me at gasneed@gmail.com or call me at 202-277-3385. My name is gannon and any help would be greatly appreciated.
