Sorry for the same question a year later. I see you have the Bub 7. What about the suspension?

Sorry, I guess I should check my messages more often. I cant offer any info about how Rhinehardts doing before or after the split. They seem to have always had a good product and reputation. I chose the Bub 7 because (minus the end cap design) they look identical to the Rhinehardts... for a lot less $$$$$$. Only engine mods are a stage 1

I forgot to mention the bike is a great looking example. Simple and classy. That is what I am looking to achieve. At almost 60 yrs olld I like what I like.

What other work did you do to the engine besides the 2:1? Also, do you recommend the Rhineharts now that they are separate from Bub?

Thanks, The windshield works great. Its the HD compact quick detachable. No buffeting, watery eyes, bugs, wind noise at a very minimum. You can feel it a bit when riding freeway speeds (65mph) if its windy, its nothing to worry about. If its calm you dont notice anything even at 80 or 90mph. Im 55 and have been riding since I was 11 (mini bikes, dirt) and always swore I would never use a windshield lol Anymore I never take it off.

Thanks for your response on the primary/derby leak. I think you are correct about replacing the case cover.
How do you like the windshield? Does it affect the handling at all? What brand/model is it?
I also have upgraded the front tubes with stock length progressives. Huge difference!
    Good looking bikes!
