    Sorry, should clarify, tit was the wiring that came up short, teh cable length was fine. Also, I think the slotted levers in my photos are a great match for teh bars - they are performance machine bought on ebay.

    Mate, the RSD bars were supposed to be a simple swap with everyone telling me the existing cable length would suffice. Well, I came up about 1 " too short after all the time and effort of taking off teh old bars, threading through teh cables (the cornered bends in teh RSD bars are a real pain) and generally buggering around. Also, there is no grind on teh RSD bars for the risers to propoerly grip, you need some machining to ensure a good bind and so they dont move around. Harley gets around this be grooving their bars AFTER painting - everyone else takes short cuts.

    So, go into the swap with eyes open. I tried to do it all myself and ended up taking it to teh garage to get professionally done. I seriously consider doing that first time if you are not that handy (like me). Hope this helps and good luck
