i know the Nightsters headlight is mounted under the visor and the 48's is mounted to the bottom tree, but i was thinking it was the wide front end. could be wrong though. debating on getting it and "making it fit".

I like it. I've had the lift on it since about the seond week I owned the bike. I don't really know if I have a decrease in mileage. I get a consistent 50 miles before the gas light comes on.
I've never seen that, but I've seen similar ones on the forums here. I don't know why it wouldn't fit just off the top of my head, do you? Might have to relocate the turn signals or something, not sure. Maybe the headlight is different but I was under the impression that Sportsters used the same headlight across the board. I don't know how those mount though, and the 48 has a built in riser that may effect the install. That's just ideas off the top of my head as to what could get in the way.

Semper Fi man! Nah, unfortunately I don't have any video or even pictures of the bike being ridden. But I am a 6 footer and I'm pretty comfortable on it. I'm leaned forward a good amount actually and it really helps my back. I am not quite crotch rocket forward, but I am forward for sure and can relax on the tank easily. The 28"s were a tight fit for sure, but it all worked out in the end. The bike feels so much better.
