I own a ‘17 Road King with the 107”, and am going to address a transfer issue that gradually drops the stick. I change oil @3k and usually by then I’ll be down a half quart in the trans. Not bad like some but still unacceptable to me. I’m going to install the three pc. rod and if you still have your modified case I’d be happy to try it.

    Let me know. Thanks,
    Bill

I just saw your response in the forum thanks. As to the AIM it would be nice but if the spring moves the friction zone closer while keeping oil where it belongs using your kit is the most important. If your comfortable that the 3 piece rod and AIM fix would work for me it is an attractive option as I am in the Wash DC traffic, but if the jury is still out...I am interested in picking up one of your assembly's if you still have some. My thought is a one time setup/min cost up at a local a local machine shop may cost more than your complete kit.

While I don't know you Steve Cole has helped me with TTS in the past, we have discussed oil transfer early on and he is a knowledgeable and stand up guy. I believe your work with him and the detail in your posts places you in the same category. Unfortunately trying to stick with facts and my one response to another member brought out what I was trying to avoid. Thanks again
