I did the Mackinac bridge this year and the Copper harbor area on another trip too.
We love to ride up there.

Hey there...happened to read a post from wayyyyy back that you've ridden the south shore of L. Superior and mentioned that you might give some hints on the ride.
I'm planning a trip this summer from the east coast of Canada to Sault St. Marie - UP of Michigan... under L. Superior to Duluth - and then back into Canada thru Winnipeg.

I'm "credit card camping" (ie Hotels) (Too old for sleeping on the ground) but if you've got any hints on things to see, places to go, hotels, shops for gear/parts, I'd really appreciate it.

Hope things are good...hope you're looking forward to spring/summer as much as I am. Thanks for any help you can give.
