I had seen in some older posts where you was liking the rz42000 amp. Was just curious how it has held up over the years or if you swapped it out? thanks
Hey Gan, If you can I need some advice.
I have a 2012 SG with stock audio and looking to upgrade. This is for in town and highway speeds. Speakers in the fairing for now and lowers this winter.
My list looks like this.....its short. lol
KW KMR-D772BT
DD AW65
DD VO-B3
Install kits for everything
Id like a tweeter but DD has pulled the 28 and 30. I know a horn would be better at highway speeds but do have a suggestion for a tweeter I can mount in a grill? If I remember in the past you suggested PRV in the lowers on a similar set-up. Would that work here? If so, this is why I have a problem picking out an amp to tie it all together. When I researched amps for pre Rushmore the older RF amps were pretty much it. Except for you!! What would be a good choice on an amp? I have a Bro that has a new Micro 4v2 I can do some trading if that helps. Thanks for all you do for the audio section. Kirgo
Sorry to bug you but I was wondering if you could answer a quick question. I have 2012 ultra Kenwood 998 SS pn4.1000D kappa's in the fairing and Kickers in the rear tour pak. Would I benefit from an amp upgrade to a BT4180? I would like a speaker upgrade in the future or is there a better option.
Gannicus ,have a few ideas for my 08 flhx I would like to run by you.Sold my 1000d going to use my hdp4 and fosgate t400x2ad alpine 149bt,going to replace my fairing spks with mmats 601.8 and b3 horns, then run prv6mb600 in the lowers, want to keep my 6900 pros in lids.Question is run the horns from the t400x2ad then parallel the fronts-lowers off the hdp4 fr ch 6900pros rear ch?Already have the hdp4-fosgate amps still planning front stage-lowers options.Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks pglider Paul
Gannicus , I bought the Polk audio speakers and the power acoustic amp . Thanks for the recommendation . I am worried I will loose fm . I hardly listen to anything but fm . Is there any thing I can do to not loose fm . I have a fairing antenna becouse most of the time I don't have my tour pack on . I have a 1997 ultra with a 2012 Harmon radio . Or would there be a different amp that would work just as good but retain full fm , or am I worried about nothing . I see something about bike tropics amps working . Kinda spendy but
