    Hey Road Star, Found a post from 5-15-17 where you were discussing putting a hole in a head for compression releases. I have a set of 110" SE heads a guy brought me and with the valve sizes and amount of meat or head thickness in the area near the spark plug, it looks like there is not enough material to do it as you described. These aren't my parts and don't want to make a mistake on someone else's heads. I'm almost sure if I bore 3/4" deep it will break out in the combustion chamber. Have any insight for me? Thanks in advance.

    @Bigheadted:
    I did use the Cyco gaskets material tensioners; am planning on checking these in a few weeks. It wasn't too difficult. I took the cam plate to a local indy shop and he pressed the cams back in. I did get some mags on the bike too.

    How did you get all the parts for the carb conversion for $600.00? Did you use OEM parts for the carb of the 1999-2001 or another kit etc? Les

    I did replace my stock tensioners with the CYCO gasket material - have not had the cam chest open since. It was fairly easy; I made my own tool to remove the tensioners. I took the cam plate to an INDY shop and had them press the cams in and out. Best bet is the gear driven cams - I am hoping to do this fairly soon. Should cost around $600 for the Andrews 26G cams.
    I did not get those other mags on there, decided to go with some wheels from an Ultra; got them for $200.

    Hello Road Star. Did you replace your cam tensioner shoes with the CYCO ones? How was the process? Did you just tap out the cams or have them pressed? Have you checked to see the wear ? I am planning on doing something to mine and just asking questions ! Did you ever get the mags on your bike ?
