Hey there... I went with trying the TTI's on my new Vance & Hines straight shot mufflers. Worked great as the power came back and the sound was close to the same. Engine ran cooler and my mileage ran at 53mpg...
After about 200+ miles I'm starting to notice a lot of stutter at lower speeds where you like to run your bike to sound good around town. My last tank of gas showed about 45mpg so this isn't going to work. DK who sold me the TTI's says I need to change the air cleaner & put some type of XiED loop to cover the fuel problem...
I think I'm going to back up, remove the TTI's and go the route you've gone doing this right the first time.
Done a lot of reading last night and watched several Utube clips showing how to install the Fuelpak tuner... I would need to type that you just punch the codes in that are called for without use of a phone or computer.
Anyway, thanks for your postings that I've read back over several times. I hope all has worked out well on your change out.
