Looks like you had an interesting active duty career, and we trod some of the same ground (Korea w/ 6-37FA, Riley). I may be heading back to DC soon for a new job.

I hear yah. I got ridden by the 4th POG train with deployment after deployment after deployment only to be told I wouldn't get an S3 or XO job. I packed my shit and went to Grad School and then down to Tampa. I watched Carne chew Nussbaumer's ass over troops from 3rd, 9th, and 6th not being in the same head gear but never asked him about folks with use/lose leave, other family issues. Dude was a tool. Lots of other Sr. NCOs followed that mantra.

Ed FIsher, Vic Garcia, Zachrel, and a lot of others were too busy worrying about themselves to actually give a shit.

Anyway, once I retired, I went to work for Army Cyber in Tampa. I love my job because I get to pretty much do what I want.

Hahaha. What's up, man? I'm about 2 hours north of the 'Ville. Went back to school 8 years ago & working as a Medical Laboratory Technician, doing the whole "responsible adult" thing.

Lots of y'all stayed in Tampa. Lol! I tried to get branch to give me a nice, "ride off into the sunset" tour, but no dice. Back to 6th, lied to by Carney, lied about by asshole Eddie Fisher & a spineless alcoholic 1SG for the frosting on the cake. When the E8 list came out & my name wasn't on it, I was tired of the bullshit & punched out as quickly after 20 as I could. Couldn't get outta Bragg/Fayetteville fast enough.

I was in 6th from '99-'04 & '07-'08, with a detour to SOCEUR in between. Who's this? Lingenfelser here.

Hey, Jason.... it's Wiley. I was just flipping through forum posts about touring seats and saw your photo. Seems we have a common interest!

The tents in the picture are Coleman tents. I don't remember the exact model but we got them for $25/each on the clearence shelf at Dunham's in Marquette MI. They are a little cramped but the rainfly keeps your stuff dry and they pack real small. I think the regular price was around $60.

These were for a Harley ad. Monterey County (CA) Harley-Davidson featured several "normal" people who ride: a cop, a priest, us (an Army officer & a HR manager), a telephone operator, and a few more people.

Allright you guys, great photos you have there. It looks like a Harley ad, or could be one. Good job, ride safe.
