Saw your post that you made bracket to mount tool bag to lower (downtube) frame.....I think the Harley one is great but WAY overpriced.....there seems to be some sort of metal plate inside the factory bag, that Harley won't sell seperately.....would appreciate any info you have for fabrication and sound attachment to Dyna frame

Hi there, I liked your Sportster Riser so much i copied it my self, I used a drag bar. Got the riser from eBay for $50 Bucks, Bars and Idiot lights for another $160.00. Im not quite right in the wiring for the idiot lights and was wondering if you could possibly tell me what you did? I have Hi beams that go on when in low position, And my left ad right turn signals stay on also. ( On on the idiot light panel :-) ) otherwise im really happy, Thank you for the idea, They look great and nice to ride with.

I thought it will happen, because the indicator lights housing in the dyna is differente than the sportster xl custom riser, so you cant fit it. But the riser ive bought comes with the indicator lights assembly, its not just the riser. In ebay i found many sellers that offer just the riser, in the case of the dyna, i think its necessary to fit the lights in the xl riser housing. Like the diagram posted in the forum.

Bberk, im new in the forum... I saw the pictures of your dyna and it looks pretty good... The xl riser lets the bike perfectly...Greta bike. I bought recently one in the E-bay and im gonna do the same in my fxd 2010. Id like to know if i have to buy some extra things...i think the speedo fits and the indicator lights too. Do i have to make some adaptations.. Thanks a lot.

Doh! Disregard my previous message. I misread one of your posts and thought you had Kury forward controls when it was the brackets.

Do you still have the Dyna forward controls for sale? I am buying a 2002 FXD with the mid controls. Too tight for my long legs.

    Thanks in advance.
