I would agree that you would find better riding in MO. I am familiar with the Branson area and some twisties with a view can be found there.

I used to live on the Missouri border with Arkansas so I am a KC fan however I have since moved to Florida but still pull for KC, also happens to be my initials. How about you?

sorry to hear about all the rain, that's what i like about it out here, there won't be any more rain 'till november. & i hear ya on the bar hopping thing,, had a few buddies that rode & after i got out of the air force i moved back to michigan. would hook up with them & go for a " ride " which was about 20 min from their house, to the local watering hole, hahaha.

was actually born in Benton Harbor / St Joseph, right on the lake, you'll be runnin' right thru there on 94, you'll probably take I-196 right after you pass Benton Harbor, ( i grew up about a mile from that 94 / 196 exchange ) lived in South Haven for awhile, but in that area most of the work was around Kalamazoo, lived there a number of years also.
still have family there freezin' their tails off,, hahaha
some good deer hunting up that way,, hey,, you said that you're gonna do some riding while you're there,, head up 37 & right before you get into Baldwin pull into The Shrine of the Pines, it's really a cool stop, it's right on the Pierre Marquette river, ( i've canoed all those rivers up that way,, you probably have too haha )
got a brother that's got 40 acres up close to Messick, nice area up that way,,,,
