I used to go see Frank Zappa at the Felt Forum in NY on Halloween night. Did that for several years until he stopped doing the shows. Lots of memories.

That was with the TTS after Doc tuned my bike. There is no substitute for a good tune trust me. My bike spent 6 hrs on the dyno.

yep you'll need the power cones for the back pressure. On your sporty you'lll get better performance if you put lollipop baffles in them to give you some back pressure. Drag pipes are for drag racing where you live in the hi RPM zone .For every day riding they suck. Check into BCT for baffles.

You seem to have a solid handle on this forum, so I thought I'd pose a quick question for ya...I have had my '76 Sporty (w/ '74 Ironhead 100o in it) for about a decade and I'm running drag pipes on that...love the sound...hadt to tune my S&S carb to get the performance right, but she does OK...yesterday I picked up an '03 Dyna SuperGlide with the TC88 motor...she's bone stock and I tell ya, the sound is just awful! Sounds like damned Yamaha or something! Aaack! I thought about removing the baffles, but then I'd need to re-jet the carb to get the performance back...do you think removing the baffles, then adding Power Cones would do the trick? I definitely will be buying new pipes, eventually, but I'm rather broke after buying the bike, so that will be a while...but I hate the crappy stock sound...suggestions? (BTW, love the FZ pic!)

yes with no problems.try just using the rear one and see what happens.I use CRs from a Stihl concrete saw, no issues with them sticking
