Hi. Thank you. Back at you. I see you have one. I put the windshield on a few weeks ago, really have not done any highway riding yet. In around town I like it. I traded my RK classic for this, was tired of wind on interstates.
I need to post pictures of the 2010 road trip soon. Spent some time in the Tetons this past year before moving up to YNP and Cody. I LOVE IT OUT THERE!! Next year I hope to make back to Glacier and then on up into Banff and the Icefields Parkway. Happy New Year!
Jeff, Have a safe and Happy Holiday.
Oh and just to keep you posted the final total (taxes, towing included) is going to be $4,636.14 and I'm told 6 to 8 weeks. Well given the weather here lately I guess riding would have been out of the question anyway. Again, Happy Holidays to you and your family. Be safe. Dan
Jeff, glad to hear the bike is back looking all "purdy" again. I bet it was driving you crazy.
Yes, the fairing is re-painted. I think it looks much better with less white. I'm not sure people would notice unless I pointed it out, or unless the before and after pictures are side-by-side, but from the standpoint of my eye, it's a huge improvement.
I do have pictures, but can't add any more to the gallery here w/o removing some. I'll have to email you some.
Been riding in and around santa fe/northern new mexico. Aspen's are near peak and we've had some wonderful weather. Will head back home to Dallas next week.
Hopefully you're able to get in some mileage before you have to winterize the bike.
