Hey Dan, I hope all is well with you. I just had a desire to let you know that since I can't get your Shovel I had to make a deal with a Bro of mine for a 79 FX that I am suposed to drive down to SoCal and get this week.It will be a project but that is something I am in need of. I couldn't pass it up at 3 grand. And it does run but been sitting close to 30 years.

    Hey brother,

Was reading that "free unwanred appraisal givers" thread and noticed you moderate a private shovelhead group. Thinking about selling my 78 FXE and was going to start on HDF. I thought I would start with the semi-sane and serious crowd before I jumped into the larger swamp (like facebook). It's not stock but pretty nice IMHO. I'm in Colorado. If this something you think may warrant posting on the group you manage let me know and I will whip up an add and start there first.

Hey Twisted, have a question and figured you would know. See you're running an S&S air intake on your shovel, always liked the looks of those and am thinking of replacing my ventilator air intake with one. So am wondering do you think the S&S will flow as much air as the Ventilator or at least enough for a Stage 2 setup?

    Thanks, Mike

Howdy Twizted, This is Wayne with the Panzer oil issue. Still having same issue of oil running out at breather. I did have to replace the ign module {to start this bike} and replacement module [molly] was a different #. I didnt re time cause it seemed to start ok but wondering if timing could be different with this repl module as I read that the Rotary breather valve is timed to open on down Stroke of piston. Something to do with scavenged oil?? Could this be my problem Sir??

    Hey TwiZted,

I was told you might be able to answer this question.

Will the transmission from a 2003 Indian fit a 1993 heritage softail?

If you have the time, you could also answer the question I posted in the Evo forum.

    thanks,

    TD

Hey man thanks for all the help ....my pop died young and quick wasn’t able to ask the questions that needed asking but this place seems to be helping a lot....I’m not sure if you’re familiar with departure bike works in Richmond va but that’s my local shop and they kinda did me a little bit dirty recently(2800 bucks to put my primary chain back in) while it was there they called and said it needed to be torn down and couldn’t give me a real reason why it HAD to be torn down but instead of acting stupid I paid and cut my losses...I will be working on it from now on so I will be needed advice sooner or later
