i recently purchased a 2004 sportster 1200r and it seems to run good except for the tachometer doesnt work at all. Even the light on it doesnt work. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas where i could get a new or used tachometer for cheap. Thanks alot!

I am trying to decide on a new seat for my 2008 sportster 1200 custom. I have just purchased a sundowner seat and it is not all that comfortable. I am 6, 1, and 200 pounds. Have long arms. The sundowner seems to push me forward a little. I do not want the spend the money for a custom seat. Am looking at Mustang seats but they have so many models I have no idea which one would be best.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Balloo

Thanks for the compliment. I love the old ones too. They are great for local rides, get lots of attention and become medicine for my mind when I ride them, because they take me back to my youth.

Thanks man. I'd keep the anniversary paint if I were you, only came around so often. I think you are the first person that said they liked the pipes I have! I do kinda like them, but for some reason really think the fishtails will set it off.

Thanks rocketman, I've dabbled in show cars all of my life, picked up some good skills, I very rarely tell people I can paint. LOL
