Hey man, just picked up my 09 SB about a week ago. I'm trying to do something similar with my front end with 14" R6Cs (love those things) but I'm wondering what turn signal relocation kit did you use? I know it's not the HD one and I've read that the Kuryakyn comes with the wrong bolts and was trying to avoid sourcing those. I tried to find the answer in your previous posts but was unable. Thanks for any help. Your bike is awesome man.

Yes I did install 14" R6C bars. Here's the tread

Below is a copy of a message I sent asking some similar question. Hope this helps!
    -----------------------------------------

Their bars are great! I almost bought a different brand (dont recall the name) that I saw on the board and was referred to seegercycle.com. When I called to order them they said that they had all been recalled due to them braking. She also informed me that those particular bars were made in China. I refused to buy bars that were made in China.

After discovering this I began to read more threads on the board and found that these China bars had broken for some people. Riding down the road and hit a bump “BAM” bars break right in your hands. I couldn’t imagine the horror of that feeling and wasn’t about to find out either.

The R6C bars are welded on 90’ angle at the joints. If you look at the VERY expensive Rolland Sands Z Bars you’ll see that they are welded on 90’s too. Be wary of any bars welded on a 45’ angle. Those are much weaker and could break!

The guys at R6C are great to work with. Their bars are made in the USA right in their shop. They’ll paint them flat black for you too. They are very comfortable to ride with and more ergonomically correct since the grips come back down at an angle, IMO. They leave the ends open to make wiring an ease and it is. In one of my post I give more detail about how I got the wires through the bars. If you do order from them be sure to tell them you saw a thread on HDforums, they’ll be sure to go out of your way to make you happy!

The install is very easy, its a good time to relocate your turn sigs too. Nothing needed to be extended with the 14" bars. The only things I did I different was run the clutch cable down the right side of the bike. I think there are pics of that too in my thread. Just be careful to not turn your master cylinder upside down when you remove it.

Go for it! I get lots of complements on the bars! Let me know what you end up doing and if I can help ya out!

Hope that answers some of your questions.
