The job is by no means in the bag, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but that part of the country sounds really nice. I was in Seattle for a week about 8 years ago but didn't get out of the city too much. I've been looking at house prices, too, and it looks like your money gets you a lot more house than here in the United Kingdom! Thanks for the tips.
