I go on the "Trail of Tears" every year. It runs from Chattanoog, Tn. to Okmulgee, Ok... We stop in Florence, Al. the first night then to Hot Springs, Ar. the second night and then to the final stop in Okmulgee, OK... The most unusall part is there are around 90,000 riders that leave from Chattanooga, Tn. and have fest. at either Florence, Al. or Waterloo, Al... All the money goes to a fund for the unfortunate tribs that we visit that year for a college fund.

The second day there are usually around 200-250 riders but we pick up some on the way. However you can only join the ride at fuel stops, no merging allowed. This elimates accidents.

If you are not interested in riding with the 90,000+- you are welcome to ride with us. We meet next to the kystral on broad street just before you go up lookout mountian. Usually around 20-30 of us with experience. We leave about 7:45 am and get to the park in Florence about 2 hours before the main group comes in. If you want to visit Waterloo where the ride use to end it is only a few miles from the park. This way we get to check things out before it gets really crowed and get some good photos of the main ride comming in. Hope to see you there.
Oh by the way if you are going to stay in a hotel in Chattanooga get your reservations now or you may not get any. If you come on Friday check out thunder creek HD. Live music venders and plenty of parking
