That is not good.......especially for the cost of the bikes that come outta there[:'(]

Sorry for the delayed response, but every great ride has it's price, so I just finished putting wifey's patio furniture together. LOL
Problems Billy has with OCC bike:
1) Failed to seal inside gas tank so now tank has rust inside.
2) Paint around tank fill peeling off after minimal gas spatter from filling.
3) Solid footboards (no spring) mounted so close to ground bike can only lean minimally before scraping boards.
4) Billy asked for a loud horn...when blown while motor is running you can't even hear it.
5) Billy asked for exhaust sound to be low to medium, bike is as loud as my fatty with V&H bigshot longs.
6) Bike is supposed to have been painted all one color which looks like a reddish orange.....rims are a light orange, footboards are a bright red, frame, tin and tank are bright orange.
7) Leather seat is already discoloring from a beautiful saddle brown to a grayish color.
8) Gas gap takes about a half hour to get off due to misfitting ears.
Other than that the bike's perfect.....LOL

One of our local shops does service on OCC bikes occationally and told me there are lots of problems having to do with general workmanship and what seems like rushed building even on their regular bikes. I hope they work these problems out I really like those guys. A real success story but you have to maintain quality.

Allright fellow LI'ers...
Arnold and myself are meeting up w/ Steve at 1PM out at the old OBI on Ocean Pkway which is about 1/2 mile - 1 mile or so West of the Sagtikos/Robert Moses Causeway down by Captree.
Cruise/ride/destination TBD but we'll see you there.

Nice ride today....down along the south shore on Ocean Pkway....up Rt 111 through/around a street fair and up to 25A and into Port Jefferson for some lunch, good brew, fun with the gang.

good times with good friends and great weather, tho it was a bit "brisk" especially on the NSP in the shade...brrrr - think next time I'll wear a jacket!!
