Either... exit 14 is the main Cumming exit (all new and improved so watch it), go west to the second stop light at Hwy 20 (Wachovia on the right corner) and turn right... follow the road through the square of Cumming and the WH is on the right or go west and stay on that road until you hit the square of Cumming and turn left at the new court house and follow your nose.

Exit 15 then turn left, west, stay on that road which dumps you into the square of Cumming and keep going straight with traffic.

For those who are coming via Canton Hwy (Ga Hwy 20) via 575

Come up 575 to the new and improved Hwy 20 "Cumming" exit and go east. Follow your nose until you get into Forsyth County. You will go around the foot of Swanee Mountain and start down a hill. The first red light after Swanee Mountain is Swanee Dr. There is a Chevron station on the left at that light and the WH is next door. If you gas up there is a back cut through to the WH. No need to get back on 20 just to turn into the WH parking lot.

For those who live up this way..... shuuuush It's between us, OK?

I'm predicting that I'm going to get lost, so hopefully someone has a cell phone on them. I'm guessing I'll be coming up 575 from Marietta and it sounds complicated. I dont have any new fangled GPS gadgets on my Nightster.

It's actually not and is pretty straight-forward. You'll be fine but have Wiz's cell phone number handy just in case.

But just to clarify Alex, the Cumming Exit is #19 and last I was there, you exit to the right; go to the light and then turn left on Hwy 20. Stay on 20 all the way to the Chevron Station and WH we'll be meeting up at, on your left. Can't remember the distance, but it's probably what 30 miles from 575 to that WH? If you hit downtown Cumming, you've gone to far.

Dave, Did you mention this ride to Motorted? Just thought he and his bride might like to come along. Have also mentioned it to Unome who is checking with his wife about if they want to come along. They're in McDonough. Gordon is going to be doing a Rideabout on his Train up in upstate NY visiting family.

I'm having no luck finding a menu or description on line for Turner's Cafe - any idea if I can get a bodybuilding friendly lunch? AKA grilled chicken salad? Or is this another down home country cookin place?

According to THIS they are closed.

I highly doubt that or there would be word rippling through the mountains.

Sorry BC, I didn't find a menu anywhere but they are burgers, ribs, chicken, country cooking, salads.. just a great place to eat, small and neighborly like Green Tomato's kind of place.

Cool. I should only have to stop for gas twice on the way up there.
