3 weeks later, 3 new radios shipped to the dealer, all 3 duds!!!! I am starting to get pissed!!!! At least my old radio still worked fine, just fogged up. Number 4 arrived yesterday but the tech working on my bike was off and won't be back until Monday.

a chapter member we had lunch with said he was fighting over this on his Tri Glide several times and that they refurbish returned radios from warranty problems and use those as recycled replacements

I really hope that's not what's happening, my bike is 6 months old, but it wouldn't surprise me at this point.

I'd demand they take one out of a bike sitting on the floor. I'm willing to bet that's exactly what they do. Same with cell phones.....you "buy" a new phone and if it breaks under warranty, they replace with a refurbished one.

Since my bike has the smaller 4.3 I doubt they have a bike sitting on the floor now with one. New radio was again suppose to be installed yesterday but I haven't heard from them saying the bike's ready. Not a good sign because it can't take very long to get finished. Starting to wonder it they screwed something up on the bike and aren't telling me about it?
