The Cam Bearing failed. Cut a deep groove in the cam bearing journal. Inner race and needles gone! Cracked the rotor on the oil pump but not before it pumped little bits of metal thru-out the engine. Service manager called this afternoon they have a new long block and 131 kit on the way,

I may have missed it, did you have any other symptoms other than the "cough" sound?

treated my M8 to a couple tank fulls of petrol ..80-90 degrees for a week and today was just Day 1 of 4 day ride for long Holiday weekend

mjwebb, I've been to that lake before and it's driving me nuts that I can't remember where it's at!

Pelton Dam is a major dam on the Deschutes River in Jefferson County, Oregon,

Rainy days = mod days. Capped off my revamped audio system with additional lighting in the new lowers.

it's crazy how beautiful it is out here..lived here my whole life and never get tired of any of the rides and scenery..heading up over Mt Hood to the Hood river 'Fruit Loop' orchards and farms tomorrow..the Spring wildflowers in the alpine setting, fresh cherries and pastries for sale..snow packed Mt Hood right in your face..going to be close to 90 but it'll be cool and comfortable up there
