Right side is shaft up. You should be able to read the label right side up. And the opposite way the adjustable shock is.

Added Mustang rider backrest.
Put 'ride on' orange goop in both tires.
Now I feel a bit more comfortable getting ready for a full day ride...figure 250 miles or so.
