I'm getting at least some slip-ons. If work is needed, take em off.

Default TAB Slipons

Well I just got my TAB slipons yesterday and they sound awsome especially if you remove the baffles. They are loud and mean! Power did not change. Yes the CAT is still in the head pipe for all of you EPA and warranty *****.

I have not used this brand yet, but Gutted stock mufflers.. You lose low end torque. It does gain horse power on the top some.

AFR is to be determined. I haven't had enough time to test partial throttle AFR without baffles. But the WOT is rich enough to handle the stock pipes with no baffles.

Couple things come to mind. Steve Cole may want to chime in on this. The 02 sensors should be able to correct for pipe changes and the problem area that 02's don't control was wot, that needed remapped and now is richer from the factory. Don't get me wrong a full custom tune is best but i think we can get away with more than previous without tuning. I have been in the high end car business for 35 years and never see anyone that would/could void a warranty for no cat, illegal/immoral yes but it does not increase power and w/o a tune the factory wont know. Tunes have always voided warranty because of increasing horsepower. Our scan tools check for tuning and send home info the tech never sees. Bottom line why would a tech want to rat you out for not having a cat? just pisses off everyone and in the end costs business from people not coming back. Mike
