Anyone doing the breather bypass on your M8?

Are you guys blind? If he keeps the breather pipes facing up and reduced from 1 to 2 pipes running over the top of the sngine the ridiculous carbon build up will damage the engine within 2000 miles if left unattended!
Should I take this bike down to the Dealer workshop and avoid the cost? No Ill just do what they recommend on do on the hillbilly threads,leave the cause dangling in front of my face to go buy a aftermarket 117 upgrade?
You guys with your stupid breather mods and tin cans are the cause of his problem and he will pay for it with engine damage.
Arrogant enougth to go against quackery and go with the product designer.Yes any Day!

Why is it that the two most active members from Australia are crazier than hell? I mean straight up nutz. Is it because they're upside down all the time?
Edit: No offense to Australia. We respect you guys, but might want to check over your shoulder every now and then as those two are walking your streets.

WOW this thread has taken a turn south
This is what I did on my 17 CVO Street Glide. HPI V2 air cleaner
Drilled and tapped the spacers 1/8" NPT, installed the fittings
Installed everything and torqued to spec, used a transfer punch to mark the breather bolt, and then cross drilled the breather bolt 32nd up from inside diameter of bolt, made sure the holes lined up when installed and torqued
Installed ends on hoses and ran to the ground

Dr. Quinn seems to think that by venting the crud and oily air outside of the engine instead of putting it back into the cylinders to be burned somehow makes more crud build up on the pistons. Maybe he thinks the breathers suck air into the engine instead of expelling the dirty air from the engine case? He is obviously confused with his head up his ***.
