We've put together a new Cam Install thread with new images to replace the earlier ones that disappeared due to a server hosting issue. The new thread can be found at https://www.roadglide.org/89-fuel-mo...ges%2A%2A.html

We also published the complete article on the Fuel Moto University site here

For those interested we did a Fuel Moto 124 big bore kit on a customers 2017 CVO Street Glide yesterday. We used the FM big bore big bore kit with factory bored cylinders, Wood WM8-408 cam, SE64mm TB with CNC ported manifold. He's running the Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Street Outlaw mufflers, and we tuned it with Dynojet Power Vision. We used the stock heads with Wood valve springs in this build.

Better put a rider backrest on that thing.

I assume the HD Breather I have on my 2018 Street Glide won't fit the SE 64mm Throttlebody?

It will fit just fine. The HD breather has a large enough opening to accommodate the larger 64mm bore. Depending on your combo, FM will recommend the larger filter like I have, available for purchase from their website.

From our Facebook news feed:
130Hp/145Tq: we did a great build this week on Charles' 2018 Fat Bob with a unique recipe. We installed the FM 124" Stage III big bore kit w/ factory bored cylinders @ 10.8 comp, stock heads, D&D Fatcat 2/1, SE 64mm ported TB, and we used the Wood WM8-22X cam that he already installed & was already running. This setup resulted in making mega torque with instant power; 130Tq by 2500 RPM and 140Tq by 3K, these combo's continue to impress and show the potential of the M8 engine. The short 22X cam makes huge low RPM power and still carried out 130Hp with help from the TB, this is currently the highest HP 22X cam equipped engine anywhere.

Welp! I know what I'm doing with my tax return next year.

What ancillary parts did you use in this build (upgraded oil pump? cam plate? clutch upgrades?)

In this build we used the factory oil pump & cam plate, the AIM SDR clutch kit is not applicable to Softail models so we upgraded the clutch springs. It still has a reasonable lever pull. This Softail really turned out amazing, it runs nice and smooth, engine noise is silent, it has a nice idle lope, and makes huge torque instantly. It's really going to be a blast to ride in this chassis.
