US models don't have jiffy stand interlocks, unless they changed on the 17's

I had the same issue a few days ago on a brand new roadglide ultra. Slowing down for a stop sign, bike had no throttle, and red alarm light was flashing on dash. Attempted to restart, I had to cycle ignition in order for it to crank. Started and stalled right out again. Then cranked and no start. Desperately waited a few minutes and it fired up. Drove another 60 miles home, with the wife on the back!!! (She ripped me and said this never happened on the roadking, it was 17 years old and had a carburetor!!!) i am going to drop of at dealer, I know they won't be able to duplicate it. Hoping is was a glitch and not a problem, I'll update after appointment.

This happened to me yesterday twice, and again this morning. I disabled the EITMS function, and it went away immedialtely. If the EITMS system is kicking in now in 70degree temps, imagine what it'sgoing to do in the summer.

Have you done any mods? Some guys have had issues with the SE tuner. Dealerships have usually re-tuned and problems go away. It's almost as if there is a glitch in software, and a reset fixes it.

haven't heard about the SE tuner issues. I'm running with one since purchase date. now the EITMS feature is interesting.. maybe it is going into parade mode and with the already low idle rpm setting, it's stalling.. I haven't seen that issue on mine but I do have EITMS disabled. Was never crazy about that idea anyway.

I agree. SE tuner issues I've heard of weren't really bad, just glitches in the software downloads. Mainly when people were trying to up the idle to 950-1000
RPM's from the stock 850.
Something seemed to get a little squirelly. Once they reflashed, all was good.

My bike is stock, little over 500 miles, don't want to do any mods until after 1000 mile
service.
