If you did "Neels to Deals" you probably went right by our property. Next time you're coming to North Georgia to ride the mountains shoot me a PM.

Nice looking bike. But, I'm interested in an RK standard, not special.

It is a standard model. I removed the light bar, powder coated the headlight nacelle, breather cover, horn cover, saddle bag crash bars, lower fork sliders, and windshield hardware. Added Khrome Werks 10" bobber style mini apes. HD 16" light smoke windshield. RC Components RCX 4.5" Rage slip-ons. HD CVO diamond stitched leather solo seat. and HD gloss black short stem mirrors.

Basically created a "poor man's" Road King Special.

You could always pull everything off and sell/trade (for stock items) it.
Maybe recoup some cash, from that picture it would be a shame though.

I understand. If it's the RK style that was the attraction, you might consider a pre 08 model. They are smaller and lighter to handle. I have an 07 RK Custom to complement my Rushmore limited just for that reason. It feels like a feather next to my Limited. And if you are just a Softail person, I get that too. I miss my Evo softail and always contemplate trading the Custom for a Springer.

I'm hopeful to find someone who is looking for a Road King Special but doesn't want to pay the premium for one. The "poor mans" Road King Soecial has to appeal to someone. If not, I may remove some items to recoup a bit of the hit.

I'm hesitant to remove anything at this point because if I can't sell the bike for a reasonable price and decide to keep it, I'll want the solo saddle. That stock one is torturous to me.
