Thank you sir for responding. No need to post your resume for your answer to have merit.

The "considerable majority" of M8 owners don't use this forum, and of those that do, this is a good platform for complaints. That is why I phrased the question the way I did, to try and filter through "tech support" issues and boil it down to pass/fail, go/no go, or would you/wouldn't you.

As far as the term "post mortem," I come from a publishing/advertising/software development background, and they're an irreverent bunch. More devil-may-care than morbid, but sometimes unprofessional.
Not upset by a movie. Just tired of all the BS posts from non-owners coming on here to stir the pot.

If you think it's a crappy bike, go buy the Yamaha you're lusting after.

How dumb is it to be required to own an M8 before you can ask about it? I'm not misrepresenting myself, I am planning to buy a Limited in the near future and would like owners feedback. Actually, it appears that you don't own a Milwaukee 8 either.

And, seriously, "go buy the Yamaha you're lusting after." LOL that sounds about as grown-up as "why don't you just marry it!" BTW, where did you get the notion that I was "lusting after" a Yamaha?

The only pot stirred seems to be yours...

You will have to rip my M8 from my cold dead hands. No regrets 9000 miles in 4 months.

What's your problem? You clearly are bothered by this thread and yet you keep posting pissy comments. Why?

I've tried being polite to you but you keep ankle biting. What gives? You believe that someone who has not yet spent $30k on a bike has no business discussing it or asking questions? You think I'm a troll, just here to mess with YOU? Don't flatter yourself, sir.

I've explained myself to you several times, and if that's not good enough for you, walk away.

If you don't want to be civil, don't bother responding. The trick is to not say stuff you wouldn't say face to face. Here's a beer to help you chill

I'll assume you are kindly offering to have a beer sometime. Sure, any time you're in town.

I know a couple of people who served on the Indy. Maybe we can discuss boats or Milwaukee 8 Harley-Davidsons
